As stated on the title, this coming 26th August 2010 is prayer day. Put aside all other plans and activities. We as Christians NEED to pray. For ourselves and for those around us. There is Always something to prayer about or someone to pray for. Do come and have fellowship with us and pray.

We are to be upright and our conduct is to be beyond reproach so as we can be called to be witnesses who are trustworthy.

We are the ones who are called to be witnesses for God and to be those that shine the light for God.

I just had one of the most delicious salad ever. A native Myanmar salad called Leh Peh Toop. It stands for tea leaves salad and it is made from a mixture of nuts, and onions and tea leaves and garlic and chilly and it is an absolutely mouthful bursting with flavour and bite. Wrapped in a piece of salad, its a light crunchy delicious dish. Wow. I am so full of the salad now. So nice. I’m lost for words. Gonna go lie down a while

My baby the artist. This is one little girl who is so passionately crazy about art that she’s spilling art unto almost everything she touches. She is also crazily good at what she does. Go challenge her and find out for yourself)

I’m glad she’s mine. For my third year anniversary gift she got me a XV9-01 and a XV9-04 as presents. I’m in love. And we’re getting married next year.

Oh and this is what I planned for the proposal… Oh wait… Sorry, can’t talk bout it here. But fret not there is a plan. Hehehehe.

I was having a conversation or rather a discussion bout how to categorize all of the following. Actually just between a geek and a nerd and here we have a diagram that clearly shows what is what. So geeks to nerds to dweebs and lastly dorks. Let’s hope that the number of people in those categories are also in that order with a lot more geeks and nerds than dorks and dweebs.

In actuality, this is one of the hardest way of life to practice. It is easier said than done as it really does require an utter abandon of one’s own dreams and wants and to put trust and reliance on God. Though God knows what is best for us, the best may not include your dream home or job or spouse (that is a totally different message on what we THINK is good vs what God KNOWS is best)

So as I sit here thinking about how so close my dreams are yet so far to achieving them, I realise some are for my own good while a lot more is my own undoing. I also realised that if I do not suffer some form of discipline for my misdoings, I will forever be misdoing it. Therefore, what little I suffer now is only for my own good and also for the training anf betterment of myself. May I continue to seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness.

This is how misunderstanding happens. Actually, my friend David got his named changed to a very unique name. From david to dewi. We had a good long laugh at this cause look at thw wife’s name. Technically harder as there’s a Y and also 2 vowels next to each other. But oh well. See you soon dewi
